Found in an old tome. It is incomplete, but interesting history.
Following are the accounts as witnessed by Jarilyn the mage, Ta'Mori, and Pit Viper.
Today is Leyan, day 19 of the month Jastatos in the year 5111. It is 00:38 by the elven time standard. It is currently after midnight. The viridian and scarlet circles have been in Icemule for several days now. They do odd, flaring up now and then. Eerie whispers can be heard coming from them. Rolfard says they are like the circles that were in Teras and that terrible creatures will come from them. Creatures that bleed acid and eat implosion. I've tried to warn the locals but they think I'm off my rocker. We shall see who is prepared and who is not. My current duty is to watch the circles for unusual action and report back to the Lord and Lady Ta'Mori with such news.
Apparently one named Nershuul is to come from the circles. From what I can ascertain, he is coming for Amasalen's staff. Some say it was destroyed years ago. Some say it was taken by a man named Morvule. If the staff was destroyed there are hopes that it can be re-pieced, similar to the Griffin Sword.
Nershuul is said to be a demonblade working for Lord Stone. He commands the demons. I thought all Lord Stone wanted was the crimson shards from his creation but now it seems he requires other things. Nershuul was recently in Teras to obtain an item from the Kiramon mines, which he did very quickly. There is a man named Vaelsoth who, some time ago, lost his demon. Some say Nershuul and Vaelsoth could be the same person. It remains to be seen.
Barnom is the Landing's interim Mayor. Walkar has been run out of town. Some think him dead, others just think he's hiding. Barnom held a public meeting saying any of the men in the town's Militia that were associated with Walkar had been relieved of their duty. He's hired some guard and said he has upgraded their defenses.
Barnom is in the public office. He said he's going to search for someone few but we are welcome to ask questions and we are welcome to join him. He said he is looking for Elithian Cross. He wishes to speak to the SpiritCaller. He asked Ravashaak if he had spoken to him. Barnom said Colson is dead because the town was trying to tear itself apart. Some accuse Barnom of alienating people in the town but Barnom has publicly said he feels Lord Stone would make a good king.
Today is Leyan, day 19 of the month Jastatos in the year 5111. It is 21:58 by the elven time standard. It is currently late evening. Interim Mayor Barom has announced an open meeting in Moot Hall.
Barnom asked the Spiritcaller known as Akhash to remove the wards guarding the town because they were forged in the dark spirit of Estrian. Akhash did not give a definite answer so Barnom suggested he discuss with his tribe and get back to him.
Akhash has finally given Barnom the answer after another hour of delaying and debating, and the answer is NO! Mayor Barnom has left and we await the fallout. I'm certain Barnom seeks the Seer to either negate the wards or help someone else to do it. Unfortunately, the Seer is rarely about and her sanity and control is highly questioned.
