White Haven, Grand Courtyard
A sleek, ghostly-white airship can be seen moving towards Icemule.
The doorman scans the area watching for House members to welcome.
Tawariell says, "Ohhh."
Tawariell asks, "What is that?"
Tawariell glances up.
You softly say, "I dunno."
You softly ask, "Wanna find the airship dock?"
Tawariell says, "That's not the firebird."
Tawariell stands up.
Tawariell nods to you.
You stand back up.
You softly say, "Go go go."
You giggle.
Icemule Trace, Town Center
Elljustriel softly says, "The mayor came by a bit back... told us about it."
Drafix monotonously says, "We have a lot of ice."
Archales says, "Yes we do."
Tawariell gazes up into the heavens.
The courier heads north in a determined manner.
Speaking in Elven, Fealoke says, "We have one now."
Martyle melodically says, "Recently built."
Archales says, "Its west of here."
Drafix monotonously says, "Oh really."
You softly ask, "Did you all see that airship?"
A short-taloned eagle rolls over and streaks towards the ground, leveling off at the last second to glide just a few feet above the ground!
You grin.
Aleyi gazes up into the heavens.
Drafix monotonously says, "We have an airship dock now."
Drafix softly says, "Interesting."
Speaking to Drafix, Archales says, "You have to stop getting so preoccupied, an pay more attention to yer surroundings."
Drafix softly asks, "New way to travel?"
Archales says, "That kinda obliviousness could get ya killed."
Tawariell says, "They're no help."
Tawariell chuckles.
You grin.
You softly say, "Sorta."
Icemule Trace, Airship Hangar
You softly say, "Now what."
You chuckle.
Tawariell says, "We wait."
Tawariell says, "See where it heads or if it lands."
Tawariell just went over and threw herself down on the divan.
You walk over to the divan and with a satisfying sigh, throw yourself down upon its soft cushions.
Tawariell says, "But the Firebird is crimson and gold."
You softly say, "Yeah it wasn't the firebird."
Drafix just arrived.
You wave to Drafix.
Tawariell nods to Drafix in greeting.
Drafix nods in greeting.
Fealoke just arrived.
Tawariell nods to Fealoke in greeting.
Fealoke nods at Tawariell.
Drafix carefully surveys his surroundings.
The hangar quivers as the gear assemblies burst into motion overhead.
Tawariell raises an eyebrow.
Tawariell gazes in wonder at her surroundings.
Tawariell stands up.
Drafix jjust went over and threw himself down on the divan.
Tawariell walks over to the bench and settles down.
Tawariell leans forward and rests her chin in her hand, a thoughtful expression on her face.
Massive in height and size, large gear assemblies and ropes are tethered off throughout the hangar. A series of tall iron beams curves into a framework shaped like an open ribcage. Several stacks of wood, fabrics, and assorted metals are piled up all around the hangar. A long wooden beam and two barrels form a makeshift workbench, with a wooden bench and a slightly torn divan facing it. You also see the brown Drafix disk.
The panels of the hangar overhead slide back as the gears assemblies move, exposing a ghostly-white airship. Hangar workers race back and forth shouting at each other.
Tawariell raises an eyebrow.
A giantman worker carries in a large iron beam, drops it, and stomps back out of the hangar.
The airship slowly sinks into the hangar.
Tawariell cocks her head.
A long gangplank extends out from the hull of the airship, landing on the ground with a dull thud.
Jorshan casually walks down the gang plank.
Tawariell raises an eyebrow.
Tawariell glances at Jorshan and clasps her hands in a reverent gesture.
Jorshan flashes a wide grin.
Speaking to Jorshan, Tawariell says, "Fair tidings and welcome."
Jorshan exclaims, "Greetings, Icemule!"
Tawariell smiles.
You grin.
You wave to Jorshan.
Speaking to Jorshan, Tawariell asks, "What brings you to our fine town?"
Tawariell cocks her head.
Jorshan gazes in wonder at his surroundings.
Jorshan says, "A wish."
Tawariell raises an eyebrow.
Speaking to Jorshan, Tawariell says, "Your's or another's? Perhaps some of us can help."
Tawariell grins cheerfully.
Jorshan pushes the thick leather hood of his leather djuster onto his shoulders, glancing about his surroundings.
Jorshan smiles.
Jorshan says, "Allow me to introduce myself, you can call me Captain Jorshan."
Jorshan nods his head slowly.
You smile.
You nod to Jorshan in greeting.
Tawariell says, "I'm Tawariell Andrenae.. and this is Envoy astalyn, Bardess and Officer o' House Twilight."
Tawariell reaches over and gently rests her hand on your arm.
You smile.
Speaking softly to Jorshan, you say, "Pleased to meet you."
Speaking kindly to Jorshan, Tawariell says, "Pleased t'meet ye, Cap'n."
Jorshan nods to you.
Jorshan nods at Tawariell.
You smile.
Fealoke looks thoughtfully at Jorshan.
Jorshan says, "Likewise, anothers wish. One who I hold true and dear to my heart."
Tawariell grins cheerfully.
Tawariell nods understandingly.
Speaking to Fealoke, Jorshan asks, "... and you might be?"
Tawariell cocks her head at Fealoke.
Jorshan says, "Other than purer blood than mine."
You smile.
Tawariell appears to be trying hard not to grin.
You see Captain Jorshan the Pirate Lord.
He appears to be a Half-Elf.
He is very tall and appears to be very young. He has piercing sea green eyes and flawless, golden brown skin. He has shoulder-length, sinuous smoky black hair layered with ghostly-white accents. He has a weathered face, a small nose and defined laugh lines. He has a mild amount of stubble surrounding his awline, creating a slighty shadowed look.
He has some inked twining white tendrils on his hands.
He is in good shape.
He is wearing a thick mithglin earring, an ebon leather djuster with ghostly-white epaulettes, a chestnut leather saddlebag with silver buckles, some dark leather armor lined with white fur, a ivory silk shirt with an open neck, a smooth black leather bandolier, some faded buckskin breeches, and some polished knee-high boots.
Fealoke laughs softly, trying to hide his amusement.
Speaking to Jorshan, Fealoke says, "More beautiful blood, too, I suppose. Fealoke."
Tawariell gazes in wonder at her surroundings.
Fealoke winks at Tawariell.
Tawariell begins chuckling at Fealoke!
Tawariell shakes her head.
A pair of halflings erupt into a shouting match.
Jorshan says, "I am glad there are no bounty hunters awaiting my arrival."
Tawariell chuckles.
You smile.
Jorshan says, "I feared the worst."
You softly say, "just a few pretty ladies."
You softly say, "And him."
You glance at Fealoke.
Fealoke says, "The Mayor would likely disapprove. Sounded that way at least."
Jorshan laughs!
Tawariell appears to be trying hard not to grin.
You smile.
Tawariell just nudged you.
You smile quietly to yourself.
Speaking to Fealoke, Tawariell asks, "Ye gonnae tattle?"
Tawariell squints at Fealoke.
Jorshan says, "Yes, I offer commerce and a form of protection that silvers cannot buy."
You smile at Jorshan.
Tawariell whispers something to Jorshan.
Tawariell nods slowly.
Speaking to Tawariell, Fealoke says, "I don't recall anything intended to be secret, though I don't even remember the entirety of what was said, either."
Fealoke grins.
You grin.
Tawariell begins chuckling at Fealoke!
Jorshan nods at Tawariell.
Jorshan says, "Make no mistake, I am well versed in the art of the blade."
Jorshan laughs!
Tawariell appears to be trying hard not to grin.
Drafix monotonously says, "I saw the airship floating by..."
Jorshan glances at a wide gangplank.
Jorshan glances up.
Jorshan says, "That is my ship."
Fealoke says, "Problem with that art..those that get a chance to appreciate it the most don't get to do so for long, or tell their friends."
Fealoke sighs.
Jorshan says, "I call her, The Revenge."
Speaking pleasedly to Jorshan, Tawariell exclaims, "She's quite th'sight!"
You nod slowly.
You adopt an agreeable expression.
Drafix grins.
You softly say, "She caught our sight in the midst of our in-depth conversation."
Tawariell adopts an agreeable expression.
You softly say, "And for women, that's saying a lot."
You nod slowly.
You smile quietly to yourself.
Deep in thought, Drafix laces his fingers before him.
Tawariell giggles at you.
You lean softly against Tawariell.
Drafix monotonously asks, "Wonder what is the ship avenging?"
Tawariell leans softly against you.
Fealoke says, "I was busy being lazy and watching the clouds go by, personally. Do a lot of that these days, though I prefer the stars."
Speaking softly to Jorshan, you ask, "Will we get to see an up close look of your vessel?"
Jorshan says, "The ship... the ship was my own personal revenge against a certain tyrant."
Drafix nods approvingly at Jorshan.
Drafix softly asks, "Does this tyrant have a name or title?"
Fealoke wryly says, "Probably not anymore."
Archales just arrived.
Jorshan says, "Oh yes, at one time he was known as Eldurn Winter."
Drafix raises an eyebrow.
Archales nods to Jorshan in greeting.
Tawariell folds her hands in her lap.
Archales pushes the a grey cotton-lined voluminous hood of his kidskin acket onto his shoulders, glancing about his surroundings.
Drafix arches one eyebrow at Jorshan in an expression of sardonic amusement.
Fealoke says, "Amusing. Helped kill him and his daughter."
Jorshan asks, "Perhaps you all know of him as Elithain Cross?"
You shudder.
You close your eyes for a moment.
Tawariell ponders.
Jorshan nods to Archales in greeting.
Drafix nods slowly at Jorshan.
Speaking softly to you, Tawariell says, "I mjust have been away in th'homelands for all this."
Tawariell furrows her brow.
You nod.
Jorshan says, "The half blood runs rich here, it is comforting."
You smile at Jorshan.
Tawariell smiles at Jorshan.
Archales agrees with Jorshan.
Fealoke sighs, "It was a rather satisfying death to be part of causing."
Speaking to Jorshan, Tawariell says, "There may be pure, but we are many."
Jorshan nods at Fealoke.
Tawariell grins cheerfully.
Archales says, "Its a wonderful oasis of tolerance out here in the west."
Tawariell adopts an agreeable expression.
Jorshan says, "If it interests you, I can share a little of my history."
Tawariell nods enthusiastically!
You smile.
You nod at Jorshan.
Jorshan rubs his chin thoughtfully.
Archales says, "I always enoy a good tale."
Tawariell turns to face Jorshan.
Jorshan says, "Back to where it began, my mother was an elf who fell for a human knight."
Tawariell turns an inquisitive ear toward Jorshan.
Jorshan says, "Short, Blissful, my father met his end shortly after my twin sister and I were born."
Archales winces.
Jorshan says, "My mother was beautiful, caring... a true vision of pure beauty, and of pure blood. Mating with a human forced her to be an outcast."
A halfling sits atop a nearby beam, eating a tart.
Archales nods understandingly.
Tawariell nods.
Jemiquist just arrived.
You furrow up your face and wince.
Archales nods to Jemiquist in greeting.
Jorshan says, "Hatred, animosity, toxicity... followed her."
Jemiquist nods to Archales in greeting.
Jorshan says, "She was beat several times a week by other elves, there was no compassion."
You furrow up your face and wince.
You bury your face in your hands.
You softly say, "I know this type of story all too well..."
Jorshan says, "When I was just a pup, she was ripped from our home by a drunk group of elves and murdered in cold blood."
Tawariell closes her eyes for a moment.
You lean softly against Tawariell.
Archales shakes his head, clucking his tongue.
Speaking softly to Jorshan, Drafix asks, "How did you survive?"
Jorshan says, "My sister and I threw ourselves at them, being beat to a pulp."
You softly say, "Hidden away by family or care takers most likely."
You furrow up your face and wince.
Tawariell rubs you tenderly.
Speaking to Drafix, Jorshan says, "My mother left us silver hidden in a few places, we used this to survive for a short time.. but it quickly ran out."
Jorshan says, "We had to flee the area."
Drafix nods.
Tawariell nods understandingly.
Fealoke says, "Mm. Doesn't sound like any I know. Shunned..perhaps banished..knight, after all..but that would be the worst. Banishment tends to be considered worse than death."
Fealoke rubs his chin thoughtfully.
Speaking softly to Jorshan, you ask, "You had no one to hide you or take you away?"
Jorshan says, "There was no compassion in those around us."
Jorshan shakes his head.
You shake your head.
Speaking neutrally to you, Drafix says, "Shh shhh it's just getting to the good part."
Tawariell frowns.
Jorshan says, "My sister, Irelenia was a dreamer. Our mother used to tell us tales of a town called Icemule. She told us it glittered like a diamond in the moonlight year round."
Tawariell nods in agreement.
Jorshan asks, "We would tell tales to each other, kids have to dream.. you know?"
Jorshan says, "Promises... promises."
Jorshan sighs.
Tawariell cocks her head.
Drafix glances around the room.
Fealoke mutters, "Blood-soaked diamond, sometimes."
Drafix neutrally says, "Well.. I guess it glitters..."
Archales nods.
Jorshan says, "We swore to each other that we would one day visit."
Jorshan says, "Anyways.. the story continues."
Jorshan says, "I picked up work as a blacksmiths apprentice to a less than spiteful elf."
Jorshan says, "Daily, I would be beat on my way to work.. to only earn enough for a small portion of bread and water. Enough to sjustain."
Jorshan says, "Time passed, the smith took a liking to me. He began to teach me the way of the sword."
Archales nods approvingly.
Jorshan says, "He taught me everything he knew, he served in the legion for some time."
Archales gives a short little hum of surprise.
Jorshan says, "Every night, I would teach my sister what I had learned."
Archales asks, "A tolerant vaalorian, will wonders never cease?"
Jorshan nods at Archales.
Drafix begins to twitch.
Jorshan says, "I would not be here had it not been for that man."
Tawariell smiles.
Drafix neutrally says, "Yes yes.. nice elf.."
You smile.
Speaking dryly to Archales, Fealoke says, "Most are different than you'd think."
Speaking to Jorshan, Archales says, "Mjust have been quite an unusual blacksmith indeed."
Jorshan says, "My sister and I were rather inseperable. We trained day and night, and eventually my sister took up work in the forge with us."
Speaking to Fealoke, Archales says, "Not really, plus they all look alike, meet one met em all."
Jorshan says, "Soon, we were able to defend ourselves... but it came at a price."
Fealoke laughs softly, trying to hide his amusement.
Jorshan says, "Around 5006, the blacksmith retired and left us his shop."
Jorshan says, "... His presence was the only reason we still had business."
Jorshan paces back and forth.
Tawariell cocks her head.
Archales nods slowly.
Tawariell nods understandingly.
Jorshan says, "We did not last, one of the regular cjustomers.. an old friend of the blacksmith offered us a chance."
Jorshan says, "We traveled with him as we continued to train, soon we were deadly with every edged weapon there was."
The misty grey scorpion slowly bobs up and down.
Jorshan asks, "We decided, hey.. we're pretty good at this, maybe people will pay us for our services?"
You smile.
Archales says, "Never have to look hard for work as a mercenary."
Jorshan says, "We parted ways with the swordmaster."
Jorshan says, "Took up whatever work came our way, whatever it took to survive."
Jorshan says, "Our fame grew."
Jorshan says, "... and with fame, comes enemies."
You furrow up your face and wince.
Archales nods knowingly.
Jorshan says, "We were a fearsome pair, Irelenia and I. We went on for years as sellswords."
Fealoke says, "Funny thing if you're good with a blade. More bodies you leave in your wake, more eager some are to test their own skill."
Drafix monotonously asks, "Where's Irelenia now?"
Jorshan says, "Our next few obs involved taking to the seas, we quite liked it. We got to see the world, practice our skills."
Tawariell smiles at Jorshan.
Fealoke glances at Drafix.
Jorshan says, "Which then became.... something more, a life of piracy."
You nod slowly.
Drafix chuckles.
Archales says, "No reason not enoy the life of the sea to the fullest."
Jemiquist adopts an agreeable expression.
Speaking softly to Jorshan, Drafix asks, "Life of a pirate, freedom, life on the seas, what's there not to like?"
Jorshan says, "The thrill of a cannon thundering beneath your feet, the adrenaline as you board another vessel with intent to kill."
You grin.
Tawariell grins cheerfully.
Speaking to Drafix, Jorshan asks, "Romatnically Poetic, is it not?"
Tawariell adopts an agreeable expression.
Drafix grins.
Jorshan clears his throat.
Jorshan says, "We amassed wealth, we took over ports."
Jorshan says, "We soon became quite the notorious pair of pirates."
Jorshan says, "This warranted the attention of a certain council."
Jorshan says, "The Council Of Ghosts."
Tawariell raises an eyebrow.
Archales rubs his chin thoughtfully.
Jorshan says, "They are mildly secretive, but any backwater tavern can give you a strange tale or two."
Jorshan grins.
You grin.
Drafix just went out.
Tawariell grins.
Jorshan says, "They recruited me into their ranks."
Jorshan says, "The council itself consists of a few Pirate Lord Elders."
Jorshan says, "Each elder runs a different branch of the Ghost Society."
Tawariell raises an eyebrow.
Archales nods slowly.
Archales asks, "Did they recruit your sister as well?"
Jorshan nods at Archales.
Tawariell ponders.
Tawariell nods understandingly.
Jorshan says, "Her and I were advanced underneath the Elder of War as his Pirate Lord and Pirate Lady."
Jorshan says, "You see, each elder Declares two champions."
Drafix monotonously asks, "This sounds like rather privileged information. Are you giong to have to slit all out throats after this or something?"
Jorshan smirks at Drafix.
Jorshan says, "I have no need."
Jorshan asks, "If you run out and tell everyone this, what will happen?"
Archales asks, "Nothing..?"
Jorshan winks at Archales.
Tawariell says, "He might sound mad."
You softly say, "That depends."
Tawariell appears to be trying hard not to grin.
Fealoke says, "Sounds like effort to bother with in the first place."
Fealoke leans back a bit and folds his arms behind his head.
Speaking softly to Jorshan, you say, "On why you're really here."
Jorshan chuckles to himself.
You smile at Jorshan.
Drafix neutrally says, "Don't look at me. They're the bards."
Tawariell laughs softly, trying to hide her amusement.
Tawariell leans softly against you.
Jorshan says, "To reach the status of Lord or Lady and rise through the ranks of the Ghost Society takes... work."
Tawariell smiles.
Jorshan says, "The type of work that isn't so friendly, were sent on countless missions of war."
You nod.
Archales says, "Good thing you enoy boarding ships so much."
Jorshan says, "Advancing quickly has its drawbacks... a powereful organization can always eliminate you... or promote you."
Jorshan says, "I am thankful it was not the former."
You adopt an agreeable expression.
Tawariell chuckles.
Jorshan says, "My sister and I between our Council missions would still act as sellswords."
Jorshan says, "... We were contacted by a man known as Eldurn Winter, he attempted to purchase our help to assassinate powerful figures of cities."
You close your eyes for a moment.
Tawariell furrows her brow.
Jorshan says, "We quickly reected that."
Archales asks, "Obections about the targets?"
Archales peers quizzically at Jorshan.
Drafix monotonously says, "Pay probably wasn't good enough."
Jorshan says, "Pirates fighting Pirates is one thing."
Jorshan says, "Innocent Political figures is questionable and we would need to have a hearing with the Council of Ghosts."
You nod slowly.
Jorshan says, "I do mean questionable figures, and the deed as questionable."
Jorshan says, "A few months went by when we were on another mission for the Council..."
Jorshan says, "It was an ambush."
Jorshan says, "Our ship was obliterated, our crew dismembered... battered and beaten, we managed to reach shore."
You gasp.
You clasp a hand over your mouth.
Archales says, "Rather vindictive for a business deal that didn't work out."
Jemiquist nods at Archales.
Jorshan says, "We stumbled into the local environs where... another ambush was waiting. These of Eldurns sending."
You shake your head.
Archales whispers something to Jemiquist.
Jorshan says, "We fought, we fought, we fought. It seemed to last an eternity.. when nothing was left moving I turned, and truly, nothing was left moving."
Jorshan says, "My sister included."
Archales hums a sad little tune.
You bite your lip.
Jorshan says, "Rage, is a good emotion and word to describe my actions next."
Drafix nods.
Jorshan says, "Consumed by revenge, and vengeance... I hunted Eldurn. I killed his troops, chasing bit after bit of information."
Jorshan says, "Rather secretive."
You nod.
Jorshan says, "I traded services with a few information brokers of Ta'Nalfein, they lead me to a group of exiled Nalfein elves."
Tawariell raises an eyebrow.
Archales fidgets.
Drafix nods slowly at Jorshan.
Jorshan says, "Two ewels of insight were bestowed upon me."
Jorshan says, "One, Eldurn Winter was really Elithain Cross... Two, He was building Airships."
Tawariell cocks her head at Jorshan.
Tawariell furrows her brow.
Archales says, "Quite a lot of them."
Archales agrees with Jorshan.
A giantman worker carries in a large iron beam, drops it, and stomps back out of the hangar.
Jorshan says, "I returned to the Council who refused to aid me.. so I enlisted the help of a halfling crew."
Jorshan chuckles to himself.
You grin.
Jorshan says, "Me and my band of merry halflings managed to track a scout Airship."
Jorshan says, "We chased it day and night, it took several weeks to even get an opportunity. It simply would not land."
Jorshan says, "Within the borders of the Turamzzyrian empire it finally landed.."
Drafix monotonously says, "So to get an airship.. you mjust pillage and plunder one for yourself.."
Deep in thought, Drafix laces his fingers before him.
Jorshan says, "We snuck aboard, and began battling the denizens that were left on it."
Drafix glances between Jorshan and a sleek ghostly-white airship.
Jorshan asks, "We managed to end those aboard.. however... have you ever piloted an airship?"
Jorshan says, "I certainly had not at that point."
Jorshan says, "It was... shaky at best."
Jorshan says, "We had to stop several times to repair portions, learning as we went."
Archales chuckles.
Archales says, "Amazing you didn't crash an kill yourself."
Jorshan says, "Oh.. we crashed."
You adopt an agreeable expression.
Jorshan says, "SEVERAL times."
Jorshan says, "Thankfully, the damage was mostly to the exterior."
Tawariell winces.
Jorshan says, "We managed to take the Airship home.. imagine that, the first Pirate Lord to have his own Airship."
Jorshan says, "I was still out for revenge."
Tawariell leans forward and rests her chin in her hand, a thoughtful expression on her face.
Jorshan says, "We outfited the airship with cannons, and dubbed her the Revenge. We covered her in white paint."
You smile.
Archales says, "I wondered about the color."
Jorshan says, "The color of ghosts."
You nod at Jorshan.
Jorshan says, "We hunted Airships of Elithain, we improved the airship."
Drafix monotonously says, "Well in the clouds it would make it very hard to see."
Archales asks, "What about at night?"
Drafix monotonously says, "'tis good camoflauge."
Drafix softly says, "Even at night there are clouds."
Jorshan says, "We slaughtered, we maimed, and we were too late.. He was slain by others."
Jorshan nods at Drafix.
You nod.
Jorshan says, "I returned to the Council of Ghosts port, and gutted the ship.... and began renovations."
Archales turns an inquisitive ear toward Jorshan.
Fealoke says, "He couldn't die by normal means, anyways. Weird..time shifting..involved with killing him and his daughter both."
Fealoke idly scratches himself on the neck.
Jorshan turns to face a sleek ghostly-white airship.
Jorshan smiles.
Jorshan says, "She still needs a bit of work.."
Speaking neutrally to Jorshan, Drafix asks, "How much for the ship?"
Tawariell appreciatively says, "She's purty."
Tawariell snorts derisively at Drafix!
Speaking to Drafix, Jorshan says, "Oh, I would never sell her."
Speaking softly to Jorshan, Drafix asks, "Okay hor much for a ride on the ship?"
Jorshan laughs!
Tawariell appears to be trying hard not to grin.
You grin.
Archales shakes his head.
Jorshan says, "Once the renovations are complete... anyone is welcome on board."
Drafix nods slowly.
Tawariell smiles.
Jorshan says, "This will be my new home, as long as I play by the rules of the town."
Tawariell grins cheerfully.
Drafix softly asks, "So what kind of ship will it be after renovations?"
Jorshan says, "I have a few stops planned, but I will always return to here."
Fealoke says, "Riding on the deck of one at night, higher than the tallest mountains..I do miss that."
Fealoke frowns.
Drafix monotonously asks, "A warship? gambling ship? entertainment ship? merchant vessel?"
Jorshan smiles at Drafix.
Jorshan says, "All of those."
Tawariell smiles at Jorshan.
Drafix neutrally says, "That is.. quite an undertaking."
You adopt an agreeable expression.
Jorshan says, "It has the room."
Jorshan rubs his chin thoughtfully.
You grin.
Tawariell gazes with awe at a sleek ghostly-white airship.
Fealoke says, "Albatross of the skies, perhaps."
Speaking curiously to Jorshan, Tawariell asks, "Ye need any extra hands on deck?"
Tawariell peers quizzically at Jorshan.
Jorshan grins at Tawariell.
Tawariell blushes a nice shade of light pink.
Tawariell says, "They almost took me on the Spitfire."
Tawariell shifts her weight.
Jorshan laughs!
Tawariell says, "But I'm too tall."
Tawariell looks downright miserable.
Jorshan says, "You look a little tall.."
Drafix monotonously says, "But you're not a halfling..."
Jorshan grins at Drafix.
Speaking to Jorshan, Archales asks, "Will you still have missions you have to embark on for the council?"
Speaking to Drafix, Tawariell says, "Maybe. But they liked me. Ah was gonna help the cook."
Tawariell nods once.
Jorshan nods at Archales.
Jorshan says, "I am still a Pirate Lord beneath the Elder of War."
Tawariell leans softly against you.
Archales says, "Seems like you have a huge pool of new sailors to recruit here."
You lean softly against Tawariell.
Jorshan says, "My halflings are expert brewers, and distillers."
Tawariell licks her lips.
You softly say, "It seems a bit of a timely arrival considering the happenings in the landing at the moment."
Archales says, "I'm a bit of a skeptic, you might have to convince me of that."
Jorshan says, "By the time the renovations are complete I hope to have several new whiskeys and ales for anyone who wishes to partake."
Jorshan rubs his chin thoughtfully.
Archales nods approvingly.
Speaking neutrally to Jorshan, Drafix says, "If you're looking for more fire power, hire me, I can hurl all sorts of fiery death and destruction on your enemies below."
Speaking softly to Jorshan, you ask, "How many aboard your ship if I may ask?"
Tawariell gazes in wonder at her surroundings.
Jemiquist hums an old Elven tune.
Tawariell scratches her head.
Jorshan says, "My crew? Oh, we have about fifteen or so members."
Speaking to Jorshan, Archales says, "But he'd literally eat all the profits."
You nod at Jorshan.
Jorshan grins at Drafix.
Drafix neutrally says, "I never said I was cheap."
Drafix softly says, "just particularly effective."
Speaking to Drafix, Jorshan says, "When the time is right and a mission arises.. I will keep that in mind."
Archales says, "Least you don't deny it."
You smile.
Fealoke absently says, "I still need to find a way to duplicate those crimson spheres, that is true firepower. Perhaps she has done so by now.."
Drafix grins.
Jorshan asks, "What is happening in the landing?"
Speaking softly to Jorshan, you say, "I can be quite useful as well."
Speaking to Jorshan, Tawariell says, "Ohhhh awful things."
Tawariell furrows her brow.
Speaking to Jorshan, Tawariell says, "Though it seems settled. For now.. the Hendorians have moved right on in."
Tawariell shakes her head.
Fealoke nods at Tawariell.
Jorshan says, "Occupancy never leads anywhere good."
Fealoke says, "And folks let it happen."
Tawariell adopts an agreeable expression.
Tawariell says, "Its why I left."
You look at Jorshan and shake your head.
You softly say, "Hendorian soldiers everywhere."
Drafix softly says, "Oh who cares about those bigots. They aren't particularly fond of dark elves."
Drafix mutters under his breath.
Speaking to Jorshan, Tawariell says, "They've build a grand outpost, right outside the town. And Mayor Puptillian is complacent with it.."
Tawariell shifts her weight.
Fealoke flatly says, "Generally leads to a bloodbath."
Archales agrees with Tawariell.
You nod at Fealoke.
Jorshan glances over at Drafix and winces.
Speaking to Jorshan, Tawariell says, "Th'good people are suspicious, but they call those that think outside the box conspiracy theorists."
Tawariell grunts.
Drafix neutrally says, "That Hendoran outpost is tiny."
Drafix monotonously says, "Not much of anything."
Jorshan says, "I hold no quarrel to other races... only towards inconsiderate animals who should be put down."
You softly say, "The empire is staging a take over attempt."
Speaking to Jorshan, Tawariell says, "Drangell and his rooks were harassin' us.. then they caught Drangell and encased him in this strange crystal coffin.."
Tawariell nods to you.
Drafix nods approvingly at Jorshan.
Speaking to you, Tawariell says, "No one believes it tho'. Or wants to."
Fealoke says, "It does have an Imperial Drake, as well as quite a lot of knights..and not so hard for them to get backup."
Tawariell shifts her weight.
Jorshan says, "Eh? I can only hope I get put in a crystal coffin when it is my time."
You softly say, "I believe it."
Speaking softly to Tawariell, Drafix says, "Serves him right."
Jorshan says, "I also hope my body is instact enough for it."
Tawariell agrees with Drafix.
Jorshan clears his throat.
Jorshan says, "Intact."
You smile.
Fealoke wryly says, "Don't really need to be in one piece to fit in a coffin."
Speaking to Jorshan, Tawariell says, "Ah dunno if you'd wish it. Drangell killed many, and set the Landing on fire. Much is burnt."
You grin at Fealoke.
Jorshan says, "Well, if its crystal and clear.. I'd like to look my best."
Archales says, "But its definitely preferable in a crystal coffin."
You softly say, "For a crystal one it might be a good idea."
You nod at Fealoke.
Archales says, "Wanna keep up appearances."
Jorshan exclaims, "Nevermind that, the coffin!"
Tawariell shifts her weight.
Speaking to you, Fealoke says, "Depends on who is displaying you, if you happen to be on display."
You softly say, "True."
Tawariell furrows her brow.
You softly say, "Not trying to start an uproar of any sorts, just find it a bit of a coincidence of timing is all."
You smile.
Shuffling of footsteps can be heard in the shadows.
Archales inclines his ear, but doesn't hear anything unusual.
Speaking softly to Jorshan, Tawariell says, "E'erything seems peaceful in th'Landing for --"
Jemiquist grunts.
Tawariell casually observes her surroundings.
Jorshan squints.
Jemiquist grips his golvern buckler a little tighter.
Tawariell deftly removes the black ora gladius from her baldric.
Tawariell removes a hand-painted elegant vultite shield from in her sheepskin tote.
Jorshan gracefully pulls a curved black steel wakizashi from his bandolier.
Jorshan gracefully pulls a curved black steel wakizashi from his bandolier.
Tawariell stands up.
As Ondreian reaches for his shortsword, the shroud of misty white thorns coalescing around it part slightly -- allowing him to hold onto it safely.
Ondreian removes a slim coraesine shortsword from in his vaalorn sheaths.
Archales nods to Ondreian in greeting.
Tawariell gestures while calling upon the lesser spirits for aid...
Tawariell gestures while calling upon the lesser spirits for aid...
Tawariell traces a sign while petitioning the spirits for cognition...
Jorshan says, "You are not as stealthy as you think."
Drafix just arrived.
Ondreian searches around for a moment.
Tawariell searches around for a moment.
Tawariell traces a sign while petitioning the spirits for cognition...
Tawariell gestures.
The area becomes brighter.
Drafix searches around for a moment.
Ondreian slings a murky blue buckler off from over his shoulder.
Deep in thought, Drafix laces his fingers before him.
You softly say, "Or we have a traitor in our midst."
You give your eyebrow a little workout.
Tawariell grunts.
A lone hangar worker checks on a pair of gear assemblies.
Drafix softly asks, "What did I miss again?"
Deep in thought, Drafix laces his fingers before him.
Speaking quietly to Jorshan, Tawariell asks, "Have you a stowaway?"
Tawariell cocks her head at Jorshan.
Jorshan squints.
A half-elven robber quickly approaches!
Drafix raises a hand and snaps his fingers. Suddenly a crackling bolt of energy begins to form within his fingertips.
Drafix gestures.
Drafix searches around for a moment.
The ground begins to shake violently, making it hard to stand.
Ondreian loses his balance and falls over.
Jemiquist loses his balance and falls over.
Fealoke loses his balance and falls over.
Tawariell loses her balance and falls over.
You lose your balance and fall over.
A half-elven robber loses his balance and falls over.

Awesome slash severs the half-elven robber's right arm!
A agged stump is all that remains!
The robber's short sword falls to the ground.
The half-elven robber is stunned!
Jorshan swings a curved black steel wakizashi at a half-elven robber!
AS: +628 vs DS: +74 with AvD: +36 + d100 roll: +81 = +671

Terrible slash to the half-elven robber's side!
Entrails spill out, onto the ground!
Death can be SO messy.
The half-elven robber rolls over and dies.
Tawariell stands up.
Jemiquist stands up.
Fealoke rolls backward, then springs to his feet, ready again for action!
Archales surveys his surroundings carefully.
Tawariell winces.
The ground begins to shake violently, making it hard to stand.
Tawariell loses her balance and falls over.
You lose your balance and fall over.
Ondreian stands up.
Tawariell rubs you tenderly.
Tawariell stands up.
Archales pulls on Ondreian, trying to get him closer.
You stand back up.
Tawariell kneels down.
Drafix chuckles.
Jorshan frowns.
Jorshan kneels down.
Archales says, "Curious."
The ground begins to shake violently, making it hard to stand.
Fealoke loses his balance and falls over.
Tawariell loses her balance and falls over.
You lose your balance and fall over.
Archales surveys his surroundings carefully.
Jorshan pokes through the robbers belongings.
Tawariell growls ferociously!
Tawariell moves to a kneeling position.
Tawariell stands up.
Speaking neutrally to Jorshan, Drafix says, "I told you I'm particularly effective."
A half-elven robber decays into compost.
As Jorshan drops the black steel wakizashi, it dissolves into vapor.
Fealoke rolls backward, then springs to his feet, ready again for action!
As Jorshan drops the black steel wakizashi, it dissolves into vapor.
Archales searches around for a moment.
Tawariell stands up.
Tawariell scowls at Drafix.
You stand back up.
Speaking to Jorshan, Archales asks, "Find anything interesting on em?"
Tawariell cocks her head at Jorshan.
Fealoke says, "Not so wise to come out anyways, after someone has apparently realized you're about.."
Jorshan stands up.
Tawariell adopts an agreeable expression.
Archales lights his silver lantern, causing the wick to ignite into a small pale greyish blue flame.
Jorshan taps a small piece of paper in his hand.
Tawariell sets about preparing you to be as presentable as possible.
Tawariell takes a moment to observe Jorshan.
Tawariell cocks her head.
Jemiquist nods.
Ondreian put a slim coraesine shortsword in his vaalorn sheaths.
Ondreian slings a murky blue buckler over his shoulder.
Tawariell carefully secures her gladius to her baldric. It rattles against the blade secured to it, and she carefully adjusts them.
Archales asks, "They gave their lives just to send a message?"
Jorshan says, "This picture certainly makes me look fat, and I'm worth much more then one hundred million."
Drafix softly says, "As if a simple bandit would be a threat to the great Pirate Lord Jorshan."
Jorshan sighs.
You raise an eyebrow in Jorshan's direction.
Drafix starts chortling.
Speaking to Archales, Tawariell says, "Follies of war, per'aps."
Jemiquist chuckles.
Archales begins chuckling at Jorshan!
Jemiquist slings an elven-forged golvern buckler over his shoulder.
Tawariell grins at Jorshan.
Jorshan tosses the piece of paper away.
Archales says, "Ahh greed kills again."
Jorshan says, "It appears word travels faster than I had hoped."
Tawariell frowns.
You furrow your brow, probably adding a wrinkle or two in the process.
Archales agrees with Jorshan.
Fealoke rubs his black diamond cuff, causing darkness to stream across its surface briefly.
Tawariell quietly says, "I imagine there are eyes and ears e'erywhere when you least expect it."
Speaking softly to Jorshan, Drafix asks, "Of course, that won't deter you from finishing up your renovations and opening up your ship?"
Jorshan asks, "Of course not, did I not mention I love working with my blades?"
Drafix grins.
Tawariell grins cheerfully.
You grin.
Ondreian glances at a long wooden beam.
Speaking monotonously to Jorshan, Drafix says, "Of course, best to doubletime these renovations, and invite your bounty hunters into your ambush."
Drafix grins evilly.
Jorshan says, "Ah, that is enough story for one day. Keep an eye out for bounty hunters, and do take care of them."
Jorshan smiles.
Jorshan pulls the thick leather hood of his leather djuster over his head, preparing himself for the capricious elements of the outdoors.
Tawariell nods understandingly.
Jemiquist nods.
Tawariell slings a hand-painted elegant vultite shield over her shoulder.
You smile.
Archales nods slowly.
Drafix softly asks, "When should we expect the renovations be finished again?"
Jorshan says, "It was a pleasure to meet you all."
Speaking softly to Jorshan, you say, "And you Captain."
Jorshan says, "I would say.. around three weeks? I do hope less."
Drafix neutrally says, "Approximately."
Speaking in Elven to Jorshan, Jemiquist says, "You as well."
Drafix nods.
Drafix monotonously says, "Excellent."
Archales nods while tilting his kidskin hat forward and giving a quick, teeth-flashing grin.
Drafix monotonously says, "Until then."
Speaking to Jorshan, Tawariell says, "And ye, Cap'N. Let us know if'n we can lend aid in any other way."
Drafix knocks on a sleek ghostly-white airship.
Tawariell nods at Jorshan.
Drafix rubs a sleek ghostly-white airship.
Jorshan says, "I'll be around, my ship is here. I look forward to sharing drinks and carving into those who are foolish enough to attack me like that."
You smile.
Tawariell starts chortling.
Jemiquist chuckles.
Tawariell glances at Jorshan and clasps her hands in a reverent gesture.
Jorshan turns to face a wide gangplank.
Jorshan wanders up the gangplank.
Archales says, "Interesting welcome."
Drafix monotonously asks, "Did he mention who is the new Pirate Lord of Lady under elder of war again?"
Speaking in Elven, Jemiquist says, "I don't think he did."
Speaking to Drafix, Tawariell says, "Not that I recall."
Tawariell quietly says, "He also dinnae say exactly whom he was here for."
You nod at Tawariell.
Tawariell says, "More'n meets the eye, t'would seem."
P
Jorshan swings a curved black steel wakizashi at a half-elven robber!
AS: +628 vs DS: +82 with AvD: +36 + d100 roll: +56 = +638
... and hits for 182 points of damage!
Awesome slash severs the half-elven robber's right arm!
A agged stump is all that remains!
The robber's short sword falls to the ground.
The half-elven robber is stunned!
Jorshan swings a curved black steel wakizashi at a half-elven robber!
AS: +628 vs DS: +74 with AvD: +36 + d100 roll: +81 = +671
... and hits for 226 points of damage!
